My new Position, Award, and Current Projects!
I am thrilled to start by telling you about my new position! Starting at the end of 2023 after a few years of directing, acting, choreographing, and more with Cue Zero Theatre Company I have found a permanent home on their staff as Artistic Associate! With this new position I help coordinate monthly educational theatre workshops. I am also in charge of the CZ Laboratory Series. So far this year is off to a successful start with January’s directing workshop and CZLab project, a New Works Night, bringing in delighted audience members and new artists. In the coming months we have lots of workshops and projects.
February: Anti-Love/Villain Cabaret and an Improv Workshop.
March: Improv Show and a Stage Combat Workshop.
April: Playwriting Workshop and Cue Zero will be performing a murder mystery as a part of a fundraiser for The Arts Academy of NH at their annual gala event!
And that is all I can say about those for now, if you want the latest you can always follow Cue Zero directly here: https://cztheatre.com/
One more incredible piece of news: I was honored at the NH Theatre Alliance’s Awards Show with the NHTA Theatre Hero Award. This was in recognition of all my contributions to community theatre. It meant the world to me. I was also honored to be a semifinalist for Choreography and to have several of the productions I worked on in 2023 be semifinalist/finalists in their respective categories. Join/Empathy, the devised show my team spent half the year on, was even a finalist in Excellence in Playwriting. I cannot wait to see what we do next!
Oh and because I fail to update here as often as I should, I am also performing on the Mainstage this year March 1-3rd in Sharon Pollock’s Blood Relations! It is a drama filled show about Lizzie Borden, the acquitted axe murderer and is a must see piece of theatre! Did she do it? Come find out for yourself.
